Fundraising

Corintech, owned and run by our chief sponsor, Brian Currie - is a small electronics engineering company based in Fordingbridge.

Larasian, the Holding Company for Corintech allows Trade Aid to use its office and meeting space and provides us with all of our stationary, telephone calls, postage, petrol etc .

We also benefit from the generous support of the public houses in and around Fordingbridge who host and support our fundraising events.

Corporate Fundraising

We have been very fortunate and have received several large donations from a number of Charitable Trusts and Companies.
Most recently we received significant donations from the Sylvia Adams Trust and Aviva, for which we are very grateful.

Events Fundraising

‘We are very active with our fundraising and we organise many events which provide a large part of our funding.’

Some of the events are relatively low key but we also organise some larger events like our annual Jazz on the Lawn and New Forest Charity Challenge which are great fun as well as raising lots of cash.

We go to the organisation's meetings or assemblies to talk about our work and how the money is spent.

We approach grant making organisations and trusts for specific fundraising.

We encourage individual support.

Perhaps you belong to a club or are involved with a school, college or university that participates in fundraising activities - Trade Aid is an excellent charity for which to raise money. As a small charity even relatively small amounts of cash make a huge difference.
