Trade Aid Why not become a Friend of Mikindani?
For us in the Western world, we are very privileged.
We have an opportunity to help to improve the living standards of others less fortunate and thus provide building blocks for the development of personal self worth and respect.
It is important to ‘put something back' and Trade Aid's projects (education, conservation and enterprise) aim to do this.
‘It is easy to say that something should be done. The Friends of Mikindani are actually doing something.’
There are three categories of 'Friends':

Sponsors of Mikindani (individuals)
Pay a minimum of £5 a month and give us the freedom to choose how best to use your donation or, if you have a special area of interest you may wish your contribution to be directed to one of our key areas: Enterprise, Conservation or Education.
Sponsors will, after 2 years, qualify for reduced price accommodation at the Boma Hotel. This enables you to see your project and meet your beneficiary face to face - a moment that will live with you all your life.
Receive regular updates and photographs as well as the monthly Newsletter sent out by e-mail.

Corporate Friends of Mikindani
(Companies , Associations , Clubs, Schools and Grant Making Trusts)
Pay £365 per annum on which Corporation Tax can be claimed.
Receive a monthly Newsletter sent out by e-mail.
Have the opportunity to send staff to Mikindani on Courses to do with character-building, teamwork, motivational, leadership and practical skills, staying at The Old Boma Hotel at a 50% discounted room rate.
Trade Aid is able to claim back Tax on all donations. If you are a Tax Payer, you may claim Tax Relief on your donation.
